The purpose of this whistleblower policy is to describe how Museum Sydfyn S/I's whistleblower system works and to create a preventive effect and avoid reluctance in reporting serious matters.

The whistleblower program can be used by Museum Sydfyn S/Is employees, customers, suppliers, partners, self-employed professionals, shareholders, executive board members, board members, volunteers, paid or unpaid interns, employees of suppliers, subcontractors, former employees, and newly hired employees whose employment conditions have not yet commenced.

The reporting system can be used to report all serious matters that fall within the scope of current regulations on the protection of whistleblowers. This could be violations or potential violations, such as breach of confidentiality, misuse of financial resources, fraud, corruption, any form of sexual harassment, and illegal activities in areas such as public procurement, environmental protection, and data privacy.

The report will be investigated by Museum Sydfyn S/I and relevant actions will be taken. The reporter will be kept informed about the result of the investigation, as far as possible, considering the need for confidentiality. The reporter is protected against retaliation or revenge under law no. 1436 on the protection of whistleblowers.

The reporter can choose to make a report anonymously or by providing personal contact information. If the report is anonymous, neither Museum Sydfyn S/I nor a third party will, as a starting point, process personal information about the reporter. Members of the whistleblower committee are bound by confidentiality regarding the reporter’s identity and the information in the report.
